{"id":137,"date":"2025-02-04T20:41:03","date_gmt":"2025-02-04T20:41:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.indianatech.edu\/dba\/?page_id=137"},"modified":"2025-03-22T03:26:09","modified_gmt":"2025-03-22T03:26:09","slug":"transfer-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.indianatech.edu\/doctoral\/dba\/transfer-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"Transfer Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Credit Transfer Guidelines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Entering student with an earned master\u2019s level credits: Up to 9 hours allowed to transfer. The minimum grade of B (3.0) or equivalency will be considered for&nbsp;transfer&nbsp;credit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Entering student in an accredited Doctorate program: Up to 15 hours with overall 3.25 GPA and \u201cB\u201d minimum for any course transferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Course credit must have been earned within the last ten years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students may not&nbsp;transfer&nbsp;courses graded on a nonstandard basis (e.g., pass\/no pass, credit\/no credit, satisfactory\/unsatisfactory) to their graduate certificate or degree programs unless it can be verified from the registrar of the prior university that the grade is equivalent to a B (3.0) or better.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous coursework will be evaluated by the program director based on applicability to DBA degree requirements, including course descriptions, outcomes, and global elements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Procedure for Requesting Transfer Credit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Requests for transfer credit should be directed in writing to the DBA program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete a <a href=\"https:\/\/phd.indianatech.edu\/forms\/program-credit-transfer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Credit Transfer Request Form<\/a>.&nbsp;Please only list courses that your past program will endorse for use in a graduate program of study. Do not submit undergraduate courses for consideration even if your prior university allowed them to be used to meet degree requirements<em>.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide official course descriptions for each course submitted for transfer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide official transcripts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Official transcripts(for all courses to be transferred from other institutions) must be on file in the DBA offices before transfer credits will be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When requesting transcripts from another institution, please ask that they be sent directly to the following email: maeltaleb@indianatech.edu or address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indiana Tech<br>ATTN: DBA Program<br>1600 E.
